‘Michael’ OTT Release Date: Sundeep Kishan’s ‘Michael’ to stream on Aha Video on February 24
Indian neo-noir film, Michael, which released early in 2023 received mediocre response from the critics and the audience. The film after having a fairly successful theatrical run, is now set to release online on an OTT platform, the details of which were announced recently.

Fans can watch Michael on Aha Video on February 24, 2023. The official announcement was shared by Aha Video on social media platforms, with a message that read, “The non-stop action entertainer Michael is all ready to set your screens on fire. The film released on February 3, 2023, in Tamil and Telugu as primary languages. Makers also dubbed the film in Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada. While the digital rights were given to Aha, Michael’s satellite rights were sold to Star Maa and Star Vijay.

Written and directed by Ranjit Jeyakodi, Michael has been produced by Bharath Chowdary and Pushkar Ram Mohan Rao under Karan C Entertainments and Sree Venkateswara Cinemas banners. The film stars Sundeep Kishan, Vijay Sethupathi, Divyansha Kaushik, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Varun Sandesh, and others in pivotal roles.
The cinematography has been done by Kiran Koushik and editing has been managed by R. Sathyanarayanan. Sam CS has composed the music of the film and presented four songs.

Presented as an action drama, the premise of Michel revolves around “The gang fighting over places where a youngster decides to gain control of the area. Can he complete his dream of ruling over the place?”
Michael: Reviews and Box Office Report
The film did not win the hearts during the theatrical run, however, several aspects were appreciated by the critics. Reviewers mentioned that the film does what it promised, i.e., to showcase the story of a young man and his ambitions, challenges to rule over a place. However, the film showcased more style than substance. Performaces in the film were appreciated as the actors delivered their roles well, however, on the storytelling front, the director presented a ‘mish-mash’ of films watched before. While there was a potential to make a mark, Michael was mostly an example of old wine in a new bottle.

As of now, Michael has garnered over Rs. 16 crore at the box office. With over 590 reviews, users of IMDb have given Michael a rating of 5.9/10.
